As a Environmental and Flood Risk Engineer at Peterborough City Council, I apply my MSc in sustainable urban environments and my expertise in water, engineering, and urban drainage to design and implement nature-based solutions for stormwater management and climate resilience. I have years of experience in civil engineering and environmental monitoring, working with Building Design Authority and Nature-Based Solutions Initiative on various projects related to green infrastructure, urban planning, and water quality. I am passionate about creating sustainable and livable cities that enhance the well-being of people and ecosystems. I am also a recipient of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Scholarship, which enabled me to pursue my Master's degree in Urban Climate and Sustainability at Lahti University of Applied Sciences in Finland, University of Huelva in Spain and Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland. These learnings from all these different places and people was holistic experience . I look forward to learning new skills, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to the global efforts to address the challenges of urbanization and climate change.
