About Jarkko Saltiola
I started my computing career on MS-DOS on a home computer at age of four, started using Linux/Unix computers as a teenager and graduated as B.Sc. in software engineering at University of Jyväskylä (2011 - 2016) where I have occasionally provided assistant teaching on software project courses.As an independent software developer I have used large part of my time building solutions to my own problems and contributing on various open source projects from various development tools to experimental programming languages, while getting paid fixing WordPress issues of small to enterprise size companies.My personal interests include music production and photo-/videography related to which I build novel automation tools which I am learning to productize in long run while sharing various prototype ideas in the open.Some channels I share updates on my software related projects include:- Occasional microblogging on Mastodon https://fosstodon.org/@jasalt- Social bookmarking on Diigo (10+ years, 2500+ entries) https://www.diigo.com/profile/jasalt- Interesting repositories found on Github (2000+ entries) https://github.com/jasalt?tab=stars
