I am a trial attorney. The majority of my time is spent defending contractors, owners, condominiums, and cooperatives in construction accident cases involving the Labor Law, and in cases involving premises liability. I am also heavily involved in the defense of truckers and ambulette operators. The balance of my time is spent in insurance coverage litigation involving priority of coverage, disclaimers, and denials. Most of my referrals come from insurance companies and businesses with high self-insured retentions (SIRs).My vast trial experience and my no-nonsense approach is well known in the courts and among my peers. I'm also an author who's written on topics including defense ethics and professionalism.
