+ Continue transportation planning, traffic engineering, and traffic operations tasks from former position. + Review temporary traffic control plans, construction phasing plans, and wayfinding plans for current and upcoming construction projects at LAX + Review geometric plans and traffic signal plans for proposed roadways, walkways, and traffic signals + Conduct field assessments, planning studies, and traffic control studies in coordination with Airport Operations, Airport Police, and other stakeholders as necessary + Review, analyze, and test signal timing plans for Airport Operations and Traffic Control to use during irregular operations + Manage and lead consultant teams on traffic/transportation engineering tasks contracted by LAWA. This includes scope and RFP development, management of budget and schedule, and presentations to executive management.

+Project Management: Manage airport project studies related to current and future airport, landside operations+Project Lead: Lead and manage strategic operation projects that provide interim solutions during LAMP construction. Responsibilities include operational analysis, cost estimates, scheduling, concept design, preliminary engineering design, review of final engineering design plans, and management of sub-consultant efforts. +Civil Engineering Design: Plan, design, and review construction projects associated with airport operations and future construction. Duties include schematic drawing design, geometric design review. +Traffic Analysis: Conduct traffic analysis on LAX Central Terminal Area and surrounding roadways to understand historical, existing, and future landside access conditions during and post LAMP construction. +Traffic Operations: Monitor and assess airport traffic conditions during peak periods. Responsibilities include developing scenarios for various construction closures and incident management; providing recommendation on signal timing, traffic control to facilitate dynamic traffic flows through the airport's central terminal area and surrounding roadways, and coordinate with airport operations and airport police to assess traffic hot spots. +Construction Traffic Modeling: Create models to simulate built conditions for airport traffic operations through construction through computer spreadsheets, Synchro, and Vissim. +Technical/Engineering Design Review: Review various engineering and technical plans such as traffic control, traffic signal, traffic signing and striping plans, and technical research documents. Use references, manuals, and policies to ensure project plans/studies follow codes and guidelines provided by the appropriate governing agency.

+On-Call City Traffic Engineering: Reviewed traffic studies, parking studies, roadway improvement plans, traffic signal plans, and public inquiries for City of Agoura Hills and City of Malibu. +Designed and prepared traffic signal plans, signal timing plans, and traffic signage and striping plans as requested by each agency. +Traffic Management Plans: Directed staff on field assessments, traffic analyses, temporary traffic control plans, and transportation management recommendations for special events and construction related activities. Responsibilities included scheduling and budgeting other analyst efforts, managing sub-consultants, reviewing analysis and report drafts conducted by staff, and client communications. +Transportation Engineering Projects: Designed and drafted elements from concept to final design of Traffic Signal Design Plans, Signing & Striping Plans, Signal Timing & Synchronization, Traffic Management Plans, Traffic Control, Channelization, Parking Restrictions, Traffic Signs, and Schematic Drawings. +Transportation Planning: Provided traffic engineering elements for various transportation planning documents which include the Lancaster Complete Streets Master Plan, LA County Pedestrian Plan, and Arroyo Seco Bike & Ped Plan.

Fall 2015 - UP220A: Quantitative Analysis in Urban Planning I (For UP Graduate Students)Facilitated two 1.5-hour laboratories per week to discuss and develop skills in mathematical and statistical concepts that apply to the field of urban planning. This includes learning growth statistics in population data and financial analysis. Trained graduated students in basic Microsoft Excel to analysis planning-related data.Spring 2015 & 2016 - C&EE 180: Introduction to Transportation Engineering (For Jr/Sr Civil Engineering Students)Facilitated two 2-hour discussion sections per week in different transportation engineering topics. This includes characteristics of transportation systems, transportation planning, parking, geometric design, and signal operations.

+ Field Work: Collect traffic data such as traffic volume, speed surveys, and geometric measurements; troubleshoot resident complaints; & evaluate project sites per request of managing engineer.+ Computer Aided Design: Utilize AutoCAD to produce work orders for projects such as street lighting, striping, and traffic control device installations.+ Quality Assurance: Assist assistant engineer in plan checking for traffic control. Evaluate traffic accident reports to ensure accurate information.+ Community Engagement: Inform stakeholders on current and upcoming projects near work sites and at public meetings. Process any resident complaints and feedback on upcoming projects.

+ Project Management: Hired, trained, managed, and supervised 7 administrative coordinators & a team of over 20 volunteer staff members. Established & monitored schedules, timelines,& project budget for upcoming events and daily activities.+ Proposal/Evaluation Writing: Secured and maintained operational funding through a proposal and hearing process that included bi-quarterly evaluation hearings and end of year evaluation.+ Stakeholder Engagement: Established and maintained a network of stakeholders ranging from teachers and administrators to school board members and community based organization members.
