To work on construction sites all over the U.K repairing or fabricating steel for steel erectors. Welding MMA all positions.Welding fin plates for bracing, column bases and beams for quick erecting.Grinding, splicing, cutting and burning all different shapes and sizes as requested.Working at height using fall arrest (IPAF). Wearing correct PPE at all times following the correct procedures making sure everyone is safe around you. Read and interpreted blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports. Working well on my own or with a team.

Immingham

To complete a short term contract on Immingham bulk terminal. Fabricate, repair and replace walkways, guards and hand rails (new/old). Complete and follow work permits to make not only you others around you safe. Welding, grinding and burning various size holes. Using band saw. Reading blue prints. Wearing the correct PPE at all times.

Prince George, British Columbia, Canada

To fabricate and finish 6 large waters tanks left incomplete by another work force.Fabricating two large roofs for the outside water tanks. Burning various size holes using oxy acetylene torch for the fitting of Nozzles, door hatches and drains. Working from height using a cherry picker and fall arrest. Correct PPE at all time and to Complete and follow work permits. Read and interpreted blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports.

Fabricating guards, hand rails, expansion joints, canopies in all shapes and sizes. Welding and fabricating heavy duty steel work such as cranes, skeletal frame work buildings, barriers and repairs. MMA and MIG welding to a very professional standard which sometimes involved TIG welding. Using oxyacetylene torch, plasma cutter for burning various holes and shapes. Use of band saw, guillotine and break press. Site installation and fork lift driving. Read and interpreted blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports.

Pump and valve overhauls, replacing shafts, bearings and pressure testing which depending on the damage could involve welding/machining. Using and setting up manual laths and milling machines for use of very tight tolerances. Fabricating and welding hand rails, fence panels, s/s tables and conveyors for the food industry. Site installation which involves fitting, grinding, cutting and burning steel.
