I am delighted to return back to the Insurance Department at Forbes Solicitors, specialising in employers liability claims particularly in relation to construction sites.

Specialising in Property Litigation ranging from residential and commercial tenancy disputes to boundary disputes.

I am presently in my final seat in Forbes' Dispute Resolution Team. I work on a range of Commercial Litigation issues ranging from debt recovery to insolvency, reputation management, shareholder disputes and professional negligence. I am also involved with the Property Litigation team dealing with commercial and residential tenancy disputes, boundary disputes and rights of way.I shall be qualifying in September 2020.

I am currently in my third seat in the Dispute Resolution Department. For the next few weeks I shall be working with the Contentious Trusts and Probate Team dealing with claims under the Inheritance Act and TLATA.

I have returned to the Housing and regeneration (Property) Department to their Development Team. My role involves assisting social housing providers with:-Various Section Agreements ranging in relation to utility easements and highways.Advising on property disposalsCommercial leases and assignments

I largely worked with the Homeownership team processing right to buy transactions, shared ownership re-sales, plot sales and staircasing for Housing Authority Clients. The role included preparing Transfers, Contracts and Leases and Memorandums of Staircasing. I exchanged contracts and saw matters to completion. I dealt with flying freeholds, shared accessways and granting and reserving rights.

The first seat of my Training Contract was completed in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department. My role has involved taking initial instructions RTA, EL and PL matters, and submitting matters through the Portal. I have also been involved in completing causation enquiries into Clinical Negligence matters. In terms of litigation, I have prepared proceedings, Schedule of Loss, Witness Statements, draft Orders and Precedent Hs.

I was a Paralegal within the Casualty Team of the Insurance Department for 4 years, dealing with a variety of issues ranging from highway tripping accidents, to more unusual non-injury related matters. My experience ranges from Small Claims to Multi Track and in addition to assisting on more complex matters, I also had my own cases.I commence the period of recognised training to qualify as a Solicitor in September 2018.

I was a Paralegal within the Portal team, administering Portal claims through the process until conclusion or litigation.

I was a Paralegal with a large case load of subrogated recovery claims for our large insurer clients. My case load was a mixture of pre-litigated and litigated matters involving vehicle damage and credit hire.

I was a Paralegal defending RTA claims involving vehicle damage and/or credit hire.
