Account responsibility for all Hematology Oncology Cancer Centers and Hospitals in Georgia,South Carolina and North Carolina as it pertains to :• Support major decision makers including C-suite hospital administration and Finance executives in key healthcare and hospital systems to facilitate product access, reimbursement and revenue cycle.• Provide support to ensure appropriate reimbursement and cost recovery throughout numerous hospital departments.• Expertise in HOPPS and IPPS and subsequent impact on products• Responsible for vendors and consultants as it relates to reimbursement, marketing, specialty pharmacy, distribution, and JumpStart (reimbursement services)• Expertise and working knowledge of various hospital entities (including Children’s Hospitals, 340B, DSH, Free Standing Children’s Hospitals, and Free Standing Cancer Centers) with a strong knowledge of reimbursement relative to state payers as well as state legislative and fiscal decisions (reduced/enhance payments, rural designations etc). • Ongoing education regarding CMS and State rules and laws impacting reimbursement serving as a resource to key accounts.• Impact State payer fee schedule adjustments where necessary and applicable.• Strong understanding of hospital and pharmacy fiscal budgeting.• Integral knowledge of reimbursement, commercial ops and managed care functions • Negotiating and contracting with hospitals and specialty pharmacy • Consult with reimbursement, managed care, and billing/coding personnel regularly to monitor updates, changes, etc.• Educate sales/marketing team on government & commercial payer channel's, changes, and updates.• Significant knowledge of relationships/processes affiliated with GPO’s, IDN’s, wholesalers & distributors.
