Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mine (KCGM) Secondment – Project Manager for various Capital Projects up to $2m, including; Upgrade of machinery guarding to Australian Standards. Ground water control. Optimisation of ground water and decant pumping systems. Modifications to Ultra-Fine Grind Mill. Gold pour modifications in response to safety incidents.Key Responsibilities: Client and stakeholder liaison to determine baseline scope and to report on project progress and perfor-mance. Scoping, estimating, scheduling and requesting capital expenditure from mine owners for multi-disciplinary projects. Application requires the facilitation of team based risk assessments and development of project KPIs. Internal and External monthly project reporting on Budget, Schedule, Safety and Environmental statistics. Project schedule managed using MS Projects. Coordination and review of external and internal designs, across multiple engineering disciplines. Minor mechanical design activities and specification of equipment to Australian Standards and Client Tech-nical Specifications. Preparation of scopes of works documents, request for quotation documents, quotation evaluation and contractor engagement. Procurement coordination. Procurement, installation and registration of pressure vessel for compressed air, in accordance with Aus-tralian Standards and Mines Safety Regulations. Contractor management, including review of designs, quality control documentation, safety documenta-tion, schedule, mobilisation, hands on supervision and acceptance of completed (and rejection of noncon-forming) works. Management of equipment and process commissioning, including planning and risk assessment. Facilitation of As-Built drawings. Preparation of complete project quality control report, commissioning report and project handover report.
