Rose from new deal administrator to Head of Property Management in 4 years, overseeing a team of 11 and portfolio of over 1500 residential properties in London.The role includes:• Monitoring and guiding my team to ensure they are working to best practice including coaching them on any new legislation and processes • Providing help and advice to members of my team when required• Mentoring my team including conducting one-to-ones, 6 month and 12 month reviews to ensure they are happy and on track • Creating and implementing a KPI program tracking tenancy renewals, security deposit returns and client satisfaction levels • Overseeing any works required between tenancies, ensuring new tenants move in and settle• Working with contractors to solve maintenance issues in a timely and cost effective manner• Negotiating tenancy renewals and assisting with serving of section 21 and section 8 notices, including the surrenders of tenancy and attending court on behalf of clients seeking possession where required• Ensuring our Landlords are compliant with legislation including HMO, selective and additional property licensing schemes• Being a reliable source of information and advice for both tenants and landlords with the aim of taking the stress out of the rental process • Overseeing design and refurbishment projects with budgets up to £50,000• Ensuring client and contractor accounts are paid promptly• Working closely with other teams within the business: lettings, sales and other support offices to ensure customer service standards are exceeded• Meeting ambitious retention and growth targets; from retaining existing clients through a robust program of customer care calls; up-selling let only landlords to a Premium Management service; working closely with our sales team in order that existing clients can expand their portfolio through the purchasing of new properties.

The role includes representing the Univeristy of Roehampton up and down the country at a variety of events as well as showing groups of prospective students around campus. I also help various departments with events such as course interviews.
