Leading a team of 30+ desk based co-ordinators who's duties involved allocating and managing field based teams working schedule across the South of the UK. Extensive knowledge in the build and maintaince of all FTTx products over the fibre network.Provided coaching, training and development opportunities within the team I lead as well as making sure resource was used effectively.

Allocated and scheduled work to a team of 20 copper network build engineers. This involved provision and reactive maintenance of large core cables in the copper network. Quickly reacting to major cable breakdowns, mobilising teams and providing support to engineers to resolve issues encountered.

Allocated and scheduled work for a team of 30 private service provision engineers. Provided end to end project management of the service provision involving arranging appointments with communications providers for engineer attendance. Booking auxiliary services (traffic management, desilt, deep level subway access, etc) to allow engineers to carry out their work. Co-ordinated with planning teams and surveyors to support engineers whilst out in the field.

To provide and maintain the fibre network across private services. This involved cabling, splicing and testing end to end the fibre network before communication providers were able to provide their service across this network.

Installing and maintaining the domestic / business telecommunications copper network.
