I have almost 10 years’ experience in construction engineering and project management having worked for CPB Contractors, Acciona Infrastructure and Coleman Rail on many iconic, large scale and complex projects. My diverse range of experience spans across various disciplines from civil roads and pipelines, structural bridges and buildings, to heavy and light rail. Many of these projects required FIFO, DIDO or relocation throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and internationally to Papua New Guinea (PNG). Senior Project Engineer - Inland Rail: Tottenham To Albury (Tender)
EOI tender submission for an Alliance with Rail Projects Victoria for Stage 1 of the Tottenham to Albury project. This forms part of the Inland Rail Program which will deliver the relevant scope required to achieve horizontal and vertical clearances to provide capacity for double stacked container freight trains. Stage 1 includes works at 12 x enhancement sites consisting of track lowering and/or bridge re-construction as well as corridor wide signalling modifications. The EOI submission consists of a detailed strategy and pricing proposal for the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase which will involve establishing the final D&C offer for the first stage of the project.
Senior Project Engineer - Route 96 & West Coburg Tramway Upgrades
ROUTE 96 UPGRADE:Construction only contract with Yarra Trams to upgrade Melbourne’s busiest tram route. A 4km stretch of works along the busy Nicholson St precinct included 14 new raised stops, brand new dual track and associated civil works, widening of the overall carriageway and signalling upgrades. The works were completed across various stages including pre-works, a major 19-day full occupation and later finishing/additional works packages.WEST COBURG TERMINUS UPGRADE:Construction only contract with Yarra Trams to upgrade the Route 58 terminus at West Coburg. The works included a new raised stop, 1.5km of new dual track, a new crossover, end of line terminus facilities, associated civil works and signalling upgrades. The works were completed across various stages including pre-works, a major 10-day full occupation and later finishing/additional works packages.
Senior Project Engineer - Shepparton Corridor Upgrade (Tender)

D&C Contract with Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) for the 62km Section C of the Bruce Highway road upgrade from Cooroy to Curra. It is ranked among Queensland’s highest priority road projects for TMR. The new alignment was designed to meet growing demands for long-term road freight and transport capacity whilst providing a Q100 flood immunity corridor for the region. Stage C delivered 10.5km of new 4-lane divided highway between Traveston and Woondum including the construction of 13 bridges, four major waterway diversions and two large overpasses. Relocation to Gympie was required for project personnel.
Site Engineer - Png National Football Stadium
D&C Contract with Oil Search Ltd for the National Football Stadium project in Port Moresby, an iconic facility setting a new standard for these types of projects in the PNG region. The NRL standard stadium was delivered two months ahead of schedule for the opening game against Penrith Panthers. The stadium has a seating capacity of just over 15,000 and houses state-of-the-art corporate lounges and suites among other player, referee and patron facilities. The structure is predominantly a structural steel and precast concrete construction with complex finishes and services interaction topped off by the feature 40m cantilevered PTFE fabric roof over the main grandstand. The project was delivered by Ex-Pat management on a FIFO roster with a mostly local workforce only supplemented by Ex-Pat contractors for key trades.

D&C Contract with Australian Department of Defence to deliver the Defence Logistics Transformation Program Joint Logistics Unit (DLTP JLU) at the RAAF Base in Amberley QLD. The project involved the construction of various steel framed warehouse structures which were specifically designed for their intended function such as Hazardous Goods Stores, Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs, Weapons Storage and Repairs and the Precinct Headquarters.
Site Engineer - Aplng Gas Gathering: Upstream Phase 1
D&C contract with Origin Energy for the Surat Basin upstream infrastructure including delivery of over 200 wells per annum connected by a system of HDPE pipelines which make up the spaghetti gathering system. This system then feeds into the trunk steel pipeline that runs to the export facility on Curtis Island. The work was split into a series of 26 work packages across multiple rural Queensland properties. Client and land-owner collaboration was a high priority and key for success. The project was delivered by employees on a FIFO basis, who were based in either camp or the local township of Miles.
Undergraduate Engineer - Qut Scitech Precinct: Gardens Point
D&C Contract with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to deliver the Science & Technology Precinct project which included the complete demolition and redevelopment of a major precinct at the QUT Gardens Point Campus in Brisbane. The project reached completion on schedule in November 2012, providing a state-of-the-art teaching, research and student facilities to the QUT Campus. The Precinct comprises two multi-level buildings constructed primarily of concrete and curtain wall façade, linked by shaded and open green space. Some of the key facilities of the Science and Engineering Centre include lecture theatres, laboratory and project spaces, multiple levels of research space, a 200-seat function room on level 10, a 50 metre FINA-approved pool, a 1,300sqm gym, bike centre, student bar, food court and bookstore. One of the unique features of the project is ‘The Cube’, an open plan space over two levels in the main public area with a bank of fully interactive screens that showcase innovative technologies.
Undergraduate Engineer - Bruce Hwy: Tnrp Fitzroy 1
D&C Contract with Department of Transport and Main Roads to repair and upgrade a portion of Bruce Highway to respond to the infrastructure damage caused by the 2011 floods. The first section awarded was a 50km stretch between Gin-Gin and Miriamvale. Improvements includes road widening, extra over taking lanes, pavement thickening, flood control and increased drainage structures. Project personnel were required to relocate to the region, specifically Agnes Waters and surrounds.
