I believe that I am in the ‘’ business of building trust’’!My journey with ValueLabs has been incredible – grew from 350 to 7000 people- and one that has helped me discover that selflessness can surprisingly help you achieve the most difficult of goals. • I was the only Salesperson stateside during the initial years and had the incredible opportunity to wear the entrepreneurial hat to grow our client footprint. This stint taught me that the potent combination of responsible delivery and network effect could put sales on steroids. We acquired amazing logos and built a strong relationship with technology leaders. • I was fortunate to live in different parts of the country- the Bay area, Atlanta, NJ, and NC. This allowed me to understand the nuances of the geo, culture, and different domains. My stint in the Bay area was exciting as it allowed me to socialize with VC-backed companies and collaborate with incredible start-ups. I had exposure to transformative approaches/technologies like SAAS, Agile, and TDD in their infancy • The ability to put yourself second and focus on accomplishing the task at hand has been the biggest takeaway as I evolved from an individual contributor to a Geography head I love to read! My favorite author is Thomas Friedman and I would recommend,'' The World Is Flat”’ in a heartbeat. I am a big believer in reading a contrarian point of view and," Winners Take All,” by Anand Giridharadas does a great job of focusing on the topics less discussed!
