Use the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker conditions to prove a known phenomenon in economics. Solve systems of differential equations as applied to an autocatalytic Gray-Scott model to find steady states. Presentations for both projects were given at the festival of excellence and Mathematical association of America (MAA). The latter of the projects was presented at the Utah Conference on Undergraduate Research (UCUR).
