Profile bio

About Sam Anderson

I have a very diverse resume demonstrating my broad range of skills that I have gained over the years. I have spent my time in recent years working in education and non-profits. These jobs have amplified my capabilities to be able to write curriculum, develop new programs, work with disadvantaged youth, help students with special needs, and plan large events. I have loved being able to support young people in their education and to show them how safe, fun, and inviting education can be with myself. Prior to my experience in education, I was pursuing a degree in Communications with an emphasis in digital media. I was able to compete in and host film festivals, host a radio show, and collaborate with many others who shared my passion for digital media. During my time pursuing digital media I gained experience using Adobe Suite, especially PremirePro, InDesign, and Photoshop and would love to reignite these passions if I had the opportunity. I was introduced to film through my background in culinary. I participated in culinary education for a few years which provided me an opportunity to compete on a television show called Teen Chef Pro. I was on Teen Chef Pro for two seasons, the second season I had successfully made it to the finale. Through this show and my efforts in culinary competitions outside of Teen Chef Pro I was given awards by the Utah Restaurant Association and had the opportunity to meet many highly acclaimed chefs within the Utah restaruant scene.
