Design and Development (from concept to product) of a Wireline Downhole Stroker as the core element of a platform for downhole instrumented mechanical services which include but not limited to: - Setting & Pulling of plugs, packers and straddles. - Manipulation of sliding sleeves. - Wellbore cleanout, circulation and milling.The Stroker houses a number of novel features that were patented and these include:- A Hydraulic Feed Through the actuator combined with Electrical Feed Through which can be utilized by tools downstream the Stroker.- Position Sensor in the center of the actuator providing real time position readout.- Adaptable Anchoring Mechanism that provides a robust anchoring effect in a wide range of API pipe sizes using the same tool (There would be no need to change the Anchor arms) for increased efficiency and improved performance. - Open Architecture hydraulic circuitry with modularity in the core principle.

ScanWell is an innovative oil service company with focus on technology for well integrity, well testing, well monitoring and production optimization. Jandard is a 660 MW combined cycle thermal power plant comprising 4 gas turbines, 4 heat recovery towers and two steam turbines. The plant's power production had to be coordinated with a regional distribution center through a SCADA interface.
