I coordinate Z2K’s campaigns to MPs, Peers, Local Authorities and the media. I am responsible for parliamentary monitoring and drafting responses to government consultations, select committee inquiries and policy reports. I am also responsible for maintaining and drafting content for the website and social media.

As a Senior Policy Officer I was responsible for managing the Mayor and the GLA’s relations with the private sector in London. I worked to develop and manage projects and events related to economic and business policy. Projects I have worked on include the London Living Wage Campaign, the Mayor’s International Business Advisory Council and Open London. I was also responsible for drafting briefings, speeches and letters for the Mayor on business and economic related issues, meetings and events.

As a Senior Government Relations Officer I was responsible for building and maintaining effective and proactive relationships with London Boroughs, government departments, London MPs and associated bodies & organisations. I monitored changes in London borough and government policy and identified areas of importance for London and opportunities for the GLA to engage, including undertaking lobbying campaigns. I also provided advice, briefings and support to the Mayor on issues relating to the London Boroughs and relevant government departments.

As a graduate trainee I was responsible for conducting research and analysis in business and economics issues relating to the work of the GLA. I also assisted with developing and co-ordinating joint projects between the GLA and the private sector including organisation and running of receptions, conferences and other events. In addition I was responsible for the teams administration including accounts related work such as raising purchase orders, organising my managers diary and assisting in the management of directorate and project budgets.
