During this time Sam was the right hand woman to Retired Special Forces Officer Heston Russell, on his mission to make Australia better and do what needs to be done to help mental health and suicide prevention in the Veteran community. She started with Heston in the launch of VOAV, and has since grown into the Chief Of Staff role - as VOAV turned into the Charity organisation Veteran Support Force (VSF). Sam now leads the day to day operations, marketing, events & campaigns and wider team management of VSF - She is here to make things that matter happen.VSF is here to support and create positive, long term, and measurable impact on the lives of all current and future Veterans, and the people around them, throughout the conduct of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide.

In 2015 she Co-Founded Fast Way To Health, an online education platform, specialising in fasting. She has interviewed and spoken alongside over 100 experts all over the world on Fasting, Holistic Health and Stress like Dr Joel Fuhrman, James Colquhoun, Professor Valter Longo, David Wolfe, Joe Cross, Dr Michael Greger, Dr Veronique Desaulniers, Cynthia Pasquella and many more. Fast Way to Health events reached over 50,000 people world wide. She says: My journey with fasting, which showed me the power of consciousness and self-awareness, brought up all kinds of things within me emotionally, and for the first time in my life, I began to unpack my own beliefs and unravel the stories I’d been weaving my whole life. Digging deep and doing that kind of emotional work was exhausting and challenging, and it shook me to my core. Now, it’s one of the things I value most in life.
