I am responsible for finding solutions to the facility service issues all over western Massachusetts. This could be anything from paper towels, janitorial equipment and cleaning chemicals. This role involves lots of cold calling and stop ins to customer locations. I am responsible for adding new clients as well as growing a few existing accounts.

I am the delivery driver for Cintas. I service, grow, and manage inventories for over 70 accounts in Reno and Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe business is very seasonal. This means I have to be constantly updating invoices to keep up with their demand. More than 17 feet of snow fell in Lake Tahoe this past winter. During that time I continued to provide the highest quality service to my customers. A normally 30 minute drive took more than 3.5 hours, but I still was able to service every customer who remained open during the storm.This role also has many sales elements such as direct sale, business sales leads and growing current accounts. I sell $800 weekly of Cintas disposable gloves, masks and can liners to current accounts on my route. This includes pitching them the benefits of our products as opposed to the current supplier. I grew my route from 10.5k per week to 12.5k per week since September 2020. This has included growing our products and services inside of accounts and taking on new accounts.This past year, Lake Tahoe experienced devastating fires during the summer and 17 feet of snow over the week between Christmas and New Years. During that time I continued to service my customers and make sure they receive the best service possible.

I was the point of contact between the bakery and our customers. I delivered bread to more than 30 customers in Reno and Carson City. I assisted customers in finding the right bread for their events and offered suggestions to find exactly what they wanted.

My responsibilities as a waiter at Opa Gourmet Pizza and Cuisine include completing all opening duties on the weekend and closing duties during the week, taking orders from customers, maintaining a clean work space and effectively communicating with the customers and kitchen staff to ensure that all customers are satisfied. Waiting tables can be very fast paced, stressful and constantly test my patience. The experience I have from working at Opa has challenged me to improve my communication skills, handle stress more effectively and be more efficient with my time.

Mrs. Auld's Gourmet Foods is a food manufacturer and co-packer. We specialize in producing BBQ sauce, hot sauce, jams, jellies, spice blends and meat rubs. As the Project Manager, my job was to produce sample products for customers, cook all sauces and other products, maintain a clean kitchen and warehouse, purchase ingredients, order correct bottles and packages per customer specifications, label and seal all sauces and rubs, ensure product quality and communicate effectively with other employees. This experience has been very stressful, challenging and fulfilling. Dealing with customers that tend to think very highly of their product can be tricky, especially when their samples provided do not at all taste like the sample we make from their recipe. I have learned how to communicate with many different types of people, how to handle stress, how to deliver products on time, how to correct a mistake on my end and how to maintain a calm and professional attitude when the customers is not pleased with your service. I enjoyed working with local clients the most. I have been manufacturing the products of some of our clients for more than 5 years. I have built a good working relationship with these customers and I ha e learned the importance of having strong relationships with customers.I also created the website for this business, I have linked it below. Newmans Deli had been a staple of the Reno food scene since 1986 before it closed in 2018. There was always a line out the door during the lunch rush. Keeping organized, communicating with others and pumping out food quickly was crucial. My job was to make salads and sandwiches and assist any other members of the staff. This job was very stressful and required a ton of focus and organization to keep up with the constant orders. Newmans was known for their quality food, fast service and friendly staff. Upholding this standard while under constant stress was one of the most challenging jobs I ever had.

Working at Old Navy during the holiday season was great. I learned how to deal with angry customers, work as team with fellow employees, what I did not like in a manager and that I never want to work retail again! This was my first job other than working for my dad and I learned quickly the restraints of working for a large global retail chain. Folding clothes and organizing the dressing room are not things I want to again but I learned valuable lessons here.
