• Oz Minerals & Oxiana Geological Technician Duties –
• Processing of underground and surface drill core including cleaning, marking up of core length, recovery and RQD measurements, photography (when required), core cutting and storage.
• Sort and dispatch all drill samples (core and rock chip) for analysis. Both assaying and metallurgical.*The collection, by site standard sampling techniques, of rock chip drill samples and their subsequent storage.
• Implement and maintain an effective database for the storage and retrieval of all samples.
• Ensure all geology vehicles undergo regular maintenance and that they are in good working order and clean at all times.
