Within my role at Markited, I support customer’s across core modern marketing principles. Broadly speaking that includes content creation, data enrichment, website/social engagement and all the grey areas in between.

Co-creating a youth empowerment project based on the current needs of targeted young people. This mainly focused on expanding current youth projects within the local area through partnerships with charities and other community focused organisations. Expansion opportunites mainly involved career building and establishing connections within the local community.This involved building partnerships, creating a business plan, organising meetings, identifying youth programmes to expand on and much more.

Running the 'Premier League Kicks' programme for the Cambridge United Community Trust.Youth development and empowerment focused sessions based around Cambridge using multi-sport as a theme. The management and organisation of events such as fundraising opportunities. Data entry including secure information of participants and ensuring that data is regularly updated. Regular use of Excel, Views and other programmes for data entry and monitoring.

Planning and facilitating group work with young people who are struggling at school. Relating to areas of mental health and wellbeing support. Involves risk assessment and session planning. Co-ordination of individual needs and creating person-centred plans.Collaboration with wider professional networks and school staff. Also including family.

An exciting course by AVADO based on developing employable skill sets and knowledge. Several opportunities are also available to network with professionals. Undertaking a unique chance to increase my understanding and employability. I was able to learn a lot and gain some valuable experience.
