Sam Basques is an illustrator/concept design artist based out of St. Paul, MN. Miss Basques graduated from St. Paul's College of Visual Arts with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration. It was there that she focused on comic book art, storybook art, and visual development. Sam pushes herself to constantly be creating, sketching, and conceptualizing new ideas. Her thirst for learning as well as exceeding her own limits, fuels her competitive drive, and creates a thriving environment for her to create in. She is adaptable to change, a quick learner, and immerses herself deeply within her work to emerge with the best possible result.She possesses many technical skills, fluent in digital media, but also proficient in traditional medias such as gouache and acrylic paint.When she's not creating at her work desk, she's throwing herself out of planes (she's a professional skydiver), or spending time with her endlessly needy dog, Jake.
