    I went in to the U.S. Air Force as an officer after getting my BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in 1960. In the Air Force, I was in the Tactical Air Command, Strategic Air Command, Secretary of the Air Force Special Projects, the Manned Orbiting Laboratory (MOL) Program, the Air Force Rocket Propulsion Laboratory, Air Force Studies and Analyses, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). While in the Air Force, I received the MS in Aerospace Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and the Ph.D. in Engineering from UCLA. I was also sent to the Air Command and Staff College while in the Air Force.With BDM and TRW (which bought BDM), I was a Chief Scientist in two operating units.With Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, from January, 2000 to January, 2013 (when I retired), I taught 21 different courses in the math, Space, aeronautics, business, and engineering areas.
