Energy & Projects Engineer
During my time as an Energy & Projects Engineer I led low / no carbon projects through feasibility, design, installation and commissioning across a wide range of industrial, commercial and residential clients.On the energy side of the business, I produced feasibility assessments and investment grade business cases for low carbon opportunities. This involved opportunity identification, options appraisal, technoeconomic analysis and business case / report development to provide clients with accessible, tailored renewable solutions based on their operations. This varied from a water source heat pump installation with CHP for a metalworks, to a ground source array with associated solar PV for a leisure client. The projects aspect of my role focussed on the installation of an anaerobic digestion treatment facility with associated biogas to grid. This work included a variety of deliverables which I was responsible for, including; Concept Design Support, Techno-economic Analysis, Technical Specification definition, Contract Drafting, Procurement, Planning Permission Approval, Regulatory Support, Design Due Diligence / Review and Construction Control / Project Management. During this time, I focussed on improving existing business development strategies with the aim of delivering increased business and optimising resource efficiency. I have also had previous experience on ESOS consultation and various other energy saving audits / initiatives across a range of industries from brewing to food manufacturing and leisure etc.
Maintenence Development Engineer
My most recent position in Heineken was as part of the maintenance excellence team to drive key maintenance objectives onsite using a variety of tools such as CBM, PM's, Autonomous maintenance & data capture within the TPM structure.My previous experience in Heineken ranged from working on the installation of a new Waste Water Treatment Plant facility to various Process Improvement Projects in Energy and Operations to Change Management within the site's engineering department.
