My duties included:• Service Desk, single point of contact for all the business.• Ticket management.• Hardware management including; building; installation and stock auditing.• Problem and major incident manager.• Fault Investigation, ownership and resolution of requests and incidents.• Work closely and in partnership with all technical teams to troubleshoot issues and provide possible workarounds and solutions in a timely manner.• Active Directory including the creation of new users.

While at MAG I worked a shift rota covering 24/7/365, my duties included:• Service Desk, single point of contact for all business users and operational systems for MAG.• Call management including logging of user request and incidents on service now including customer liaison duties.• Provide second line IT support acting as point of escalation for first line.• Second-line activates include building and repairing everything from Desktops laptop tablets I (e.g. office needs) and single use PC’s, for example, the main aviation system used across the airports and public information screen and baggage systems.• Fault Investigation, ownership and resolution of requests and incidents.• Collaborate in troubleshooting issues and provide possible workarounds and solutions in a timely manner.• To work closely with both internal and external teams such as our technical support and development teams, as well as third parties.• Active Directory including the creation of new users’ maintenance.• Maintaining and fixing printers and scanners.• Fitting and maintain all screens housed around the airport.• Patching work and pulling cabled from switch rooms to points needed.
