In my role as Plant Ecologist, I provide advice on the appropriate ecologically based management of trees and shrubs, development of sustainable, adaptive management plans and strategie for urban landscapes, and reporting to institutional stake-holders on the status and needs of vegetated landscapes in the urban environment.

This position involves a wide variety of activities related to the administration of a Certificate Program in Landscape Design. I also teach the courses in Plant Material and Ecology and Sustainable Landscapes

In my role as Plant Ecologist, I provide advice on the appropriate ecologically based management of trees and shrubs, ecologically based planting design, and reporting to institutional stake-holders on the status and needs of vegetated landscapes in the urban environment.

In this position I have taught several courses to third and fourth year students: Landscape Ecology, Sustainable Urbanism,Environmental Planning, and Urban Ecologies Workshop. This involved delivering course subject matter, assigning project work, setting and marking exams, tests and quizzes and advising students.
