- Supervise daily distillery, dry house and boiler room operations carried out by union employees - Ensure Rockwell Automation control system is functioning properly in distillery, dry house, and boiler room- Strategically reevaluate and edit current distillery and dry house SOP’s to maximize operating safety and efficiency- Routinely train union employees on both new and previously established production protocols to further a culture of education and transparency- Work with Distillery Manager on projects designed to root out operations inefficiencies (i.e. water savings initiatives)- Coordinate with maintenance department to schedule work with the goal of minimizing downtime- Responsible for keeping production data up to date and accurate - includes TTB reporting and use of SAP - Responsible for adhering to safe workplace standards and furthering a mindset of safety first with all of the operators that I supervise

Managerial Roles- Directly oversee three operators working multiple shifts - Create schedules for operations team to meet production demands- Source all production ingredients, such as grain, yeast, enzymes, etc.- Responsible for all technical training of operators in order to ensure that a consistent product is being produced - Responsible for all safety training of operators in order to ensure that a safe work environment is maintained- Continually develop and scrutinize both technical and safety SOP’s to try and maximize efficiency and minimize risk - Regularly deal with any employee disciplinary action that is necessary Operations Roles- Oversee daily operations of the distillery - mashing/cooking, fermentation, distillation, and barreling of all spirits produced- Responsible for day-to-day data entry and tracking in accordance with TTB regulations- Perform basic quality control tests to ensure that spirits are being manufactured consistently and up to the company’s quality standards- Work with the production team to maintain/fix any equipment that malfunctions in a safe and timely manner- Maintain and organize a catalog of quality control and continuous improvement samples of raw/aged distillate
