About Sam Bigelow

Sam Bigelow is a project manager and engineer recently retired from the corporate life now active in promoting outdoor activity and fitness in the community. His last tradition career stop was within SAS IT leading cross-divisional and global internal projects. Previously at Towers Watson, Sam led the ACA IRS health care reporting project as a member of the H&W Operations team. Before that, Sam led implementation and ongoing support projects to deliver pension benefits administration systems and employee self service applications. Prior to joining Towers Watson in 2008, Sam led transformation projects and delivered technology solutions in support of defined benefit, defined contribution, and health and welfare initiatives at IBM.He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Massachusetts and Binghamton University in New York, respectively. Sam has been certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2002.
