In this role I worked closely with the executive, Lord Mayor and elected Council to deliver a range of strategic media solutions to protect and enhance the City of Melbourne's reputation.I was responsible for managing complex and issues rich portfolios, and delivered creative publicity campaigns to build brand awareness, drive visitation and increase the city's profile.My role requires managing a high volume of media enquiries while pitching proactive media stories for local, metropolitan and national media.I have built trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders and enjoy effective and productive relationships with a range of key media contacts.Significant achievements include: - Managing a range of complex and high-profile issues, minimising risk to the organisation's reputation through creative and proactive media strategies.
