A corporate strategy and change management practitioner, currently working as the Head of Strategy for DAL Food, the largest food and agriculture company in East Africa. DAL Food dominates dairy, milling and animal feed sectors in Sudan, is the Coca-Cola bottler and vies for the position of largest producer of consumer packed flour in the world.Previously, as a Partner, Board member and Director of Strategic Consulting for international management consultants Kepner-Tregoe (KT), Sam worked with clients including Sanofi Pasteur, EBS Building Society in Ireland, Hallmark Cards, Coca-Cola, and Microsoft’s Unlimited Potential Group. KT first established its reputation when their problem-solving method was used by NASA to support Apollo 13's safe return to earth.Before joining Kepner-Tregoe, Sam was Head of Strategy Implementation for the Savoy Hotel Group, arguably the pre-eminent luxury hotel group in the world before its breakup and sale in 1998 to Blackstone Private Equity for $900m.Sam holds a Master’s Degree and is a Fellow of the Strategic Planning Society. He co-authored a book on strategy implementation and change management. “Implementation – How to Transform Strategic Initiatives into Blockbuster Results” was published internationally by McGraw-Hill in November 2005.
