Deluxe Mediacloud (DMC) is a broadcast services platform with primary focus on playout and distribution and can be provided as a managed platform or PAAS. DMC delivers services directly from datacenters using IP networking and software-based systems.As Operations Manager I provide leadership to the Operations department implementing continual service improvement by refining workflows, processes and developing staff to ensure we are running efficiently and maintaining client satisfaction.Achievements:• Launched and manage the European distribution of the NFL over IP, delivering up to 38 simultaneous feeds to 14 countries and 400+ hours content per week• Helped develop the Deluxe Broadcast Delivery Network (BDN) to over 80 POPs globally• Responsible for the seamless relocation of the MediaCloud NOC from Holborn to Perivale. Due to time constraints the move was carried out swiftly with no impact to live services• Launched playout channel Now Jelli HD for PCCW. Fully utilizing the DMC platform, IP playout and delivery is managed in London and distributed to AIS, Thailand via the BDNResponsibilities:• Working with internal departments and clients to identify new internal and external revenue streams• Management of client relationships, handling client expectations pre/post service launch• Liaising with Product Managers and R&D teams to sign off on Change Requests and PEWs• Working with Broadcast Support on outstanding technical issues ensuring root-cause analysis of all irregularities to minimise risk of recurrence• Measuring performance against internal KPIs and producing regular reports• Hosting client tours and demonstrations• Developing the team to reach their full potential through PDPs• On-call 2nd line support and escalating to 3rd line and senior management when required• Evaluating P&L statements for new business and review of department financials• Scheduling and hiring of permanent and freelance staff
