As an experienced Learning and Development professional, I have guided many customers and colleagues to finding effective and practical learning solutions. Solutions can range from briefs, to e-learning courses, to large scale IT roll outs with multiple classroom courses and train the trainer for business trainers. Through personal tenacity and the understanding of people and the business, I ensure that I consider the what the outcome of the learning should be (i.e. the practical use of the learning in the workplace) and how to assess that. The learners and their likely requirements. Cost and time restraints. Practical considerations of bringing resources together, both people and physical (this includes IT, rooms, training material, trainer’s needs, travelling). The requirements of the individual business areas and the project and learning requirements. Ensuring people know where and when they are required and what is required of them. Ensuring that training is recorded and reporting can be carried out. are considered and any challenges are overcome. Leading change through the implementation of improvements to ways of working.
