I have played sports since I was just a toddler. I worked to not only be a valuable part of these teams but to become a leader of them. Having these experiences and values instilled since I was young correlated perfectly with my schoolwork, work, and other daily aspects of life. I have volunteered in numerous local events to support our community. I currently work at Wegmans as a cashier. Along with being a cashier, I am trained in multiple departments around the store from cashier to prepared foods and stocking. I have never received a till audit that showed any discrepancies in the nearly 4 years I have been employed. I have also been tasked with training new employees on occasion. I am consistently tasked with managing and maintaining the cleanliness of the Wegman's Cafe dining area, with the shift ending with myself closing down the Cafe, following all protocols. Whenever a manager needs anyone to stay later than my scheduled shift, come in outside of my availability, or help in another department, they refer to me. I truly believe these skills and responsibilities, along with my work ethic, can help me make a difference in the workplace.
