I love to be thrown in at the deep end with anything that I am doing so that I or as part of a team can figure out the best way to solve problems for the long term. Whilst short-term fixes need to be done, I would prefer to do the extra work so that the same issues do not occur again. I am passionate about any job I do & make plans for myself or the people I am working with so that every opinion is taken into account and the most effective way to do a project is applied. I am a Design Engineer for the Epwin Group, where I have worked my way up from an apprentice. In this role, I have been able to develop skills in: - 2D Design (Autodesk & Solidworks)- 3D Design (Autodesk & Solidworks)- 3D Prototyping (Makerbot & Formlabs) - Adobe Packages (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)- Thermal Analysis (Therm & WinIso)- Testing to ISO Standards- Structural Designs for commercial applications as well as domestic- Physically building products designed by myself or others)This role has made me appreciate the finer details needed in a position like this, as slight mistakes or miscalculations can produce profound consequences. I am currently a Design Engineer. I have a deep passion for everything to do with computers, as this is what I mainly studied throughout my school/college years. I have not been in the IT sector for several years now, but outside of work, I always keep myself up to date with the latest trends and going ons in the IT sector. I have experience in: - Programming- Computer games development- Website development (3 websites made)- Computer systems- Computer hardware- Networking- Cyber security- IT project management- Social media- DatabasesOutside of my work, I am massively into my sports. My main passions are Football, Basketball, F1 & Darts. I play Football, Basketball & Darts most weeks. Whilst F1 is a bit out of my budget at the moment! If I could be any professional sports player from past/present, I would always pick Shaquille O'Neal as his dominance changed the whole role of the big man in basketball even till now.
