Licensed to practice Pharmacy in Iowa, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.

Responsible for monitoring, assessing, and assuring quality and cost effective drug therapy for an outpatient population of over 30,000 veteran beneficiaries. Responsible for documenting therapeutic progress and/or complications due to use of medications in the patients' medical records.Responsible for counseling and educating patients on all aspects of their current pharmaceutical care. Responsible for entering pertinent electronic prescriptions for clinic patients seen within my clinical pharmacist scope of practice. Also responsible for finishing electronic and written provider orders for outpatients in the pharmacy as required.

Coordinated all VA Nebraska's activities to enroll all Nebraska combat eligible National Guard soldiers into VA medical care.Directed all presentations and application drives for the entire state. Selected for position due to extensive combat military experience and clinical background.

Responsible for directing the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical services for inpatients and outpatients in two hospitals (total of 170 beds) and one outpatient clinic at 3 different sites in Nebraska. Responsible for directing the delivery of pharmaceutical care, continuous quality improvement, comprehensive management of drug therapy and providing pertinent drug information for US veteran populaion of over 100,000 beneficiaries. Responsible for a staff of over 70 personnel to include clinical pharmacists, staff pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and ancillary support personnel and an operating budget of over 50 million dollars.
