With ten years of experience within the technical marketing sector, I have developed a portfolio of skills to help clients deliver their messaging to the industrial press. Through event management, technical writing and news distribution I have a strong understanding of the stories and topics that gain traction in the industrial sector. Throughout my time with Cadence I have been personally responsible for managing product launch campaigns, thought leadership and spokesperson development and media relations. Starting in the industry as an apprentice, the skills I have learnt come from direct experience working with some of the largest and digitally advanced companies in the technical sector. There is a personal driving passion that we all hold within the company, that is the advancement of UK manufacturing. We support this by bringing together top associations like MAKE UK, Primary Engineer and Gambica for true understanding of what is happening within the industry. This leads to our Attitudes to UK Industry reports, offering unrivalled insight into how the public is perceiving manufacturing and what the sector is doing to respond to certain situations. Since starting with Cadence I have been heavily involved in the organisation and delivery of First Friday Club events, renowned by the technical press as the most efficient way to gather multiple stories from key companies in one space.
