I am a current third year student at the University of Sheffield studying Mathematics and Statistic. I am keen to finish my degree and to be able to start undertaking the development of my skills in an actuarial role through on the job learning and the studying for the IFoA exams. I have worked in a team during my time at university, however the majority of my teamworking skills has come from the 13 years in the scouting community that I was part of. During this time I also developed my leadership skills through teaching sessions and leading groups during tasks. I am most looking forward to working in a team where each individual can express their ideas and use those to help develop my understanding of objectives and to see different perspectives.
