I am a professional film archivist and QC operator with over 13 years’ experience within the film and television industry. As part of the film preservation team at Australia’s National Archives I regularly carry out tasks associated with the digitisation and conservation of historically significant film materials held in the organisation's Sydney collection facility. This includes film identification, examination and preparation of elements for high resolution scanning and digital storage. In addition to archival services I also have extensive quality control experience, providing technical assessment of broadcast programming for Seven, Ten, ABC, SBS, and on-demand platforms including iTunes, Google, Netflix and Prime Video. My QC experience also extends to DCP creation, providing detailed reports for 2K, 4K, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos titles based on real-time preview in theatrical environments.I've also worked in Ten’s news and current affairs archives, responsible for the management, retrieval and duplication of assets for internal and external parties throughout Australia.
