My role has been to form effective links with a range of colleagues within HSE, HSL, in wider Government and the private sector to raise awareness of a variety of future topics and trends in workshops, meetings, seminars and conferences both internally and externally. I was responsible for the management of approximately 20 criminal forensic cases at a time. This involved case assessment and directed examination of submitted evidence. The results were then communicated both verbally and in written reports and statements for the police and the Crown Prosecution Service.
