I am an animal caretaker with a Bachelor's degree in Zoology, with experience in Anthrozoology and a passion for sharing my love for animals and promoting animal welfare in my every day life. During my undergraduate years, I took on an English minor to ensure that, even as I pursued STEM, my written and verbal communication skills stayed sharp. I volunteered as a public ambassador for several wildlife rehabilitation organizations and events, worked with shelters to help non-adoptable animals cultivate adoptable behaviors, and participated in several research projects both in field work, data entry, and data interpretation. I worked in animal care and advocation in disease research in a human research hospital and worked to strengthen the human-animal bond as a veterinary assistant. Currently, I am utilizing my scientific skills to ensure the safe and efficient production of human pharmaceuticals.In addition to my animal experience, I have helped several major New York City schools with braille transcription, as well as did data entry for New York City electrical companies in need of braille translation. I have a solid knowledge base of data entry and manipulation, as well as electronic medical records and programs such as Excel. I have a wide array of skills that I hope to hone even more as I search for the next step in my career.
