As Co-Founder and CEO of a young developing organization there is not much that I have not had my hands in. From helping prepare all necessary legal documents, developing business plans, graphic designs, fundraising, networking, helping with everything dealing with finances, leading students to Kenya, leading a cross country fundraising trip, to being a visionary for the future. My main roles include recruiting and preparing all of our interns, developing new programs in Kenya, and fundraising. Our objective as an organization is to help a community develop by bringing educational opportunities to the ones who would otherwise never have the opportunity. We believe that all should be able to pursue their dreams and that in doing this the good of the whole will be brought about. We also have a strong emphasis on mentorship, character development, and community.

Manage current systems infrastructure while implementing new solutions and software for improved performance, user-experience, and reliability.Lead the implementation of a monitoring system for our server and network infrastructure. Worked with the rest of the systems team in configuration and installation of new core and edge networking infrastructure for a campus-wide upgrade. Worked to retool our update services for servers. Managed the on-campus printing system and lead the transition to a new print management system. Leading the clean up of our Active Directory Domain Services objects and working to implement new security policies. Instructed faculty and staff in the use of online technologies available to them. Administered our point-of-sale system.

Two Trips With A Total Of Twenty Countries Visited Around The World

2016 - As university staff helped to plan, lead, and teach, a four-and-a-half month study abroad and service trip to ten countries. My role had an emphasis on technology, logistics, and social media. We took thirty university students to Japan, China, India, Greece, Czech Republic, England, Ghana, Morocco, Ecuador, and Costa Rica.2010 - As a graduate assistant, responsible for twenty-three university students as they traveled through ten countries around the world. Teaching Assistant duties included grading exams, teaching Swahili, and organizing the class schedule while responsibilities as the Residential Assistant included individual and group counseling, disciplinary action and health care assistance. The role also required the scheduling of international transportation, accommodation, and a heavy emphasis on service projects. This experience has enhanced communication skills, organization of events, and the ability to multitask.
