I’m currently in year four of a BA hons finance course at the University of Strathclyde where I am aiming to increase my understanding of the business world, allowing me to develop the knowledge needed for a full time job within the commercial banking industry. In summer of 2023, I worked as a financial summer intern at Glen Turner, where I gained valuable insight and experience working in the financial world. I carried out activities such as making budget trackers where I could maximise my excel skills and updating the management accounts for quarter 2. I also currently work in retail at Caulders Garden Centres and this has allowed me to develop crucial skills such as interpersonal skills and gain pivotal experience in customer service and engagement. I'm a confident, friendly individual who is hard working and diligent. I take great pride in my work, which drives me to achieve high standards across all areas of my work and studies. I like to keep fit by playing for a semi-professional football team and working out at the gym in my free time.
