Main lead for digital growth, mostly focused on customer acquisition through paid social and retention with organic social and email.I manage the Shopify store, working with freelancers and agencies to implement new features. Whilst also updating site content and ensuring brand consistency.

Strategic planning of content and collaborations, to expand reach within the UK kitesurfing market across Instagram and Facebook. Additionally, over the summer season, I help organize and run demo events, which involves:• Assisting with setup. • Pre-event digital promotion. • Social Media on the day. • Keeping up-to-date knowledge of all equipment to help guide potential customers.

My key duties included packaging and filling new product, Assisting in soap production, delivering finished product to the retail shops and helping develop more efficient ways to fill and package new product during busy periods. Overall I gained a good understanding of the daily challenges a small start-up may face and also the importance of being able to adapt in to different roles when working in such small team.

Working along side the head of sales, my main duties at Orotoro included finding new leads through market research, finalising sales, and coercing with the print team and new customers as to what we could offer. I learnt how to use Insightly in an effective manner, greatly improved my sales capabilities and I also learnt about the importance of building up relationships with clients.

I quickly learnt how to become an efficient worker by keeping up a fast pace of work and pruning to a high standard. I also learnt how to put myself in the right mindset for long hours of repetitive labour. It was also interesting to learn about the agricultural process behind wine.

I worked a total of eight summers in between school and University at Rye watersports, initially starting as a multisports assistant instructor at 16 and eventually progressing to managing the kitesurfing lessons for two season in 2017 and 2018. I gained a huge amount of confidence in dealing with customers of all ages and different backgrounds therefore learning excellent people skills. During my management role I I was in charge of employing additional instructors and ensuring that lessons were running smoothly. Additionally I also dealt with bookings and planning lessons. Throughout my time at this role I managed to build up a large amount of return customers as well as a lot of new customers through recommendations.
