Roles during this promotion include liaising directly with new and existing customers over the telephone or email in order to design new or edit existing artwork tailored to their specific brief. Artwork includes designing logos, order forms and other office supplies to encompass a company identity. I have gained experience in the use of different computer programmes such as Coral Draw & Adobe Acrobat. This role includes building professional relationships with clients to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, gained through paying attention to detail and designing each piece of artwork to the highest of my ability.

During my role as a print finisher I am required to inspect that all printed jobs are finished to a high quality before being shipped to the customer. I am confident in speaking to the team to rectify any mistakes made and delegating tasks out appropriately. In day to day work I have being trained to use specialist printing machinery including: the guillotine, numbering, perforating, stitching books and collating. Due to my perfectionist nature and patience I have been nominated to teach the new team members how to use these specific machines correctly. Responsibilities involve a specific computer tool to log items for dispatch using a 3rd party company and ensuring all products are ready by a specific time. This involves staff motivation and time management to achieve a same day deadline. Therefore I have gained excellent communication and leadership skills due to the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment within a team all aiming for a collective goal.

During my time as a catering assistant I was required to help with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers throughout the building. This role taught me the importance of kitchen hygiene and presentation of the service areas, ensuring that health and safety regulations were followed throughout. I gained outstanding levels of customer service and the ability to process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently through the use of the cash register, therefore demonstrating the use of IT skills and quick arithmetic. Through working with the public I gained interpersonal skills, dealing with any comments or complaints in a respectful and professional manner, sign posting to the appropriate person if the issue needed escalating further.

During my time as an office services assistant I performed many administrative support duties, including the handling of the mail throughout head office, answering phone calls and giving telephone advice. I also gained experience word processing formal documents for other members of staff. I was placed in charge of refilling and completing stock checks for the office supplies throughout the building, including liaising with an outside contractor when ordering new stock. I worked within a multi-hierarchical team, liaising with company directors and senior sales managers to ensure business ran as planned whilst being aware of my professional boundaries.
