I am a dedicated individual with a desire to foster connections between community members and their public spaces. From National parks to State and neighborhood parks, these public spaces are available for any and all to come and enjoy. I find it necessary to connect with the community in order to find what it is that they see as opportunities to improve upon spaces that are often neglected and taken advantage of. I spent the fall of 2018 working with the Seven Canyons Trust in Salt Lake City to daylight a section of one of the Salt Lake Valleys creeks within a park. This daylighting effort would help to not only restore the health of the creek but also the facilities within the park itself. I have recently graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree in Parks Recreation and tourism, additionally, I have a degree in business from Salt Lake Community College. I am excited to start a career helping people to understand the value and potential of their public spaces so that they can be enjoyed for generations to come and to improve the health and well-being of those in the direct and surrounding communities.
