My main responsibilities were, Timely preparation of the quarterly forecasts (Expense) and annual budgets (Expense) Monthly analysis of all expense accounts and the posting of accruals Monthly analysis of variances between actuals and estimates and following up with reviews with branch manager and Finance Controller / Finance Business Partner. Monthly analysis of OCOS transactions including reconciliation and reporting for management. Prepare month-end branch packs detailing the financial performance of the period and YTD along with explanations of all variancesMonthly analysis of stock holding, including reconciliation, ageing and calculating the provision requirements. I also worked with branch managers to help bring down the amount of provision required to avoid charging their P&L with any adverse movements. Improving processes that were wasting time and resources.

My main tasks were,Plan the recovery of each debit balance, and create a business plan to present to senior management. Working with various departments to investigate prior events and establish the validity of individual debit notes. Recover debit balances from the vendor where possible, whilst maintaining an excellent relationship with vendors. Report progress, opportunities and threats to senior management on a weekly basis. Advise senior management on what provision is required for the remaining debit balances.
