Contracted to Verizon to work as Resident Telecommunications Technician at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Ear Eye & Throat Hospital responsible to maintain Nortel Option 81C, Option 61C and Option 11C PBX’s Symposium Contact Center 6.0 , Symposium Express 4.5 and OTM 3.0 Servers

Contracted to Shared Technologies to work as a System Design Specialist (SDS) for a Nortel CS1000 10,000+ telephone roll-out at BONY/Mellon Corp. Responsible for data collection, station review of old Fujitsu PBX and telephones and setup, programming and testing of new telephones.

Main responsibilities are for voice communications on projects that are assigned to the company. Responsible for installation and implementation of various voice platforms have worked specifically with PBX’s such as Meridian 1 Option 11C thru 81C and Avaya S8700. Responsible for vendor coordination, implementation and design of voice platforms. Worked on various projects such as CIBC World Markets, Forrest Solutions and Cerberus Capital Management Group.

Relocated Main technology Room for Reserve Bank of Australia as part of a project with Syntegra. From June 2003 to August 2003 MJI Telecom was responsible for coordinating vendors (Reuters, Bloomberg and EBS Dealing) and doing a physical inventory of all voice and data circuits as part of the move.

Responsible for all moves, adds and changes on Mitel SX2000 SG PBX and Northern Telecomm Meridian 1 Option 61C and Option 11C PBX’s that accommodated in excess of 300 – 400 users. PBX’s also included various VoiceMail Platform such as Meridian Voice Mail and Call Pilot Desktop Messaging and Voice Mail System Responsible for installation and maintenance of Trading Room data and voice communications lines. Responsible for all voice recording equipment primarily Eyretel E1000 Digital Voice Recorders, Nice Digital Voice Loggers, Racal Voice Recorders, and Dictaphone Voice Recorders.Installation of all data circuits that interface with primary Dealing Systems (Reuters Dealing 2000, Reuters Triarch/PTW, Telerate, Knight Ridder ,EBS Dealing and Bloomberg Services)Administered all voice equipment primarily V-Band VIAX 6000 Platform and British Telecomm Megalink Turret System that interfaced with Mitel SX2000 SG and Northern Telecomm Meridian 1 Option 61C PBX’sResponsible for all Video Conferencing Equipment PictureTel 4000 Series , PictureTel 680 and 980 series that operate on Windows 2000 PlatformResponsible for all in house Structured Cabling utilizing cable such as Category 3 through Category 6. Responsible for all in house moves of Departments through Patch Panels and Communication voice and data block such as Smart Blocks, 66 Blocks and 110 Blocks. Responsible for all termination of data and voice circuits (9.6 KBPS, 56 KBPS, 64 KBPS, Fractional T-1’s, T-1’s and E-1’s). Responsible for installation of all Modems and CSU/DSU’sResponsible for installation and monitoring of Network Equipment such as Bay Network ASN Routers , Well Fleet Routers Cisco Routers Models 5505 , 6506 , 6509 , 8640 , Cisco Switches 2520 , 2620 , 3548 and 4006. Also 3COM Hubs, Cable Tron and Chip Com Hubs for network connectivity.Occasionally assisted with Help Desk/Trouble Desk Support functions
