A highly dedicated multi skilled supervisor / site agent / acting manager with over 19 years experience working in a wide range of telecommunication networks, mainly on the Overhead, Cabling, Civils and Fibre networks, within Openreach, PIA, Virgin Media, and private business systems. My first 10 years were with BT Openreach, as a multi skilled field service engineer, working on Overhead, U/G, Civils, Jointing, Exchange and Fibre networks. I spent the next 2 years in various different roles developing my skills in business systems, alarm / CCTV / sensors/ WiFi/ wireless I/P and data cabling. Over the last near 6 years I have moved of the tools ( although still very hands on ) and into planning / surveying, then onto supervising FTTP projects, supervising / auditing all work streams. I moved into a site agent role with Circet in June 2020, where I continued to grow and help deliver large FTTP/FTTH contracts in Bristol and surrounding exchanges, Torbay, and various other contracts across the south west, and also covering on the ONSA contract in the Chilterns. January 2022 I started as acting poling manager across the south west and Wessex, managing all work streams, working alongside FTTP project managers, contract managers to deliver projects on time and budget, whilst supporting 5 poling suppliers on multiple contracts across the south west region, including allocation, daily whereabouts, poling completion reports, programming and validation of works, on-site coaching and mentoring, surveying, hot jobs, A55’s and correction of DFE’s. Supervising the 2 largest Virgin Media civil builds in the south west for Avonline as a Civils Supervisor, managing and supervising all Civils activities on new VM builds, sub contractors on trunk routes, Cabinet builds, bollard builds, new overlays, blockages, and Toby box installs, on-site operations, including coaching and development, in progress checks, accreditation and compliance audits, retrospective reinstatement audits, clegg testing, depth checks, onsite solutions, CE and DFE’sManaging all permits, crew whereabouts, build progress reports, and weekly commercial walks.Highlighting and rectifying design / Wayleaves issues, adjusting maps, plans, regularly liasing with local highway inspectors, and communicating with other third party utilities.Safety focused, with a right first time approach, practical hands on abilities, with an eye for quality.Commercially aware with experience of cutting costs, loyal and passionate about achieving results with a in-depth knowledge of delivering large projects.
