During this role I held more responsibilty than my previous position with with Roxy Ballroom. Candidates for the Ambassador role were hand-picked by those in senior roles within the company. Those chosen became enrolled in a four week academy where intensive product, brand and service training were given. Candidates who completed the academy became ambassadors, who lived and breathed the Roxy brand and message. Ambassadors are seen as leaders within the company and are on the fast-track to achieving management level positions. Duties of the role include: Leadership, organisation, loyalty and teamwork, demonstration of product knowledge, marketing skills and brand awareness.

A part of the Roxy Leisure group, Roxy Ballroom is a bar which serves premium quality alcohol, a range of freshly prepared cocktails and hand made pizza. The venue also has several games, ranging from Ping Pong, Pool and Beer Pong which can be booked and played through the games desk.The duties of the role include; managing bookings and group activities, opening and setting up the venue, face to face customer service, making and serving a range of quality cocktails and alcoholic beverages, maintaining cellar upkeep, handling and processing deliveries.

While here my duties included making adjustments to a number of digital marketing materials such as flyers and posters, discussing adjustments with members of the department, making tea and coffee for members of the team.
