Opened Cineplex Redbank

We have a small cinema business chain based in Brisbane, Australia. My father founded the company in 1965 with Hawthorne Cinema. And I started Nickelodeon Cinemas in 2012 with Nerang Cinema and now Redbank Cinemas. Combined we have around 36 screens in Brisbane, Australia. With Cinemas I have worked in all facets of day to day operations from 35mm Projection, DCI Projection, rostering, ordering stock, to marketing and programming session times. I have also been designing new builds for Cineplex Australia and some of my friends with their expansions, working out the best locations for cinemas, negotiating leases and land acquisations, feasibility studies, negotiating finance and lending rates, and organising new refits like Cineplex Redbank Plaza. I also manage Cineplex Australia's internal software development of where we can use software to help us achieve better economies in wages and efficiency. We grow quite slowly opening a new cinema every 3 to 5 years. But in between that time my other interest is commercial retail property, tenancy mix ,new cinema design and changes and cinema technology new projection systems. I try to visit a few cinema trade shows every year where have made a few contacts from people all over the world. Bought and opened Nerang Cinema

Designed and opened a new 9 Cinema Complex at Victoria Point in Brisbane

Negotiated the sale to buy South Bank Cinema and opened the 5 cinema location.
