I worked within the Integrity department to help ensure that the integrity of all assets was maintained. My responsibilities included: • Working with the field to complete amendments with the regulatory boards for Alberta (AER), British Columbia (OGC), Saskatchewan (ECON), and NEB, and acting as a liaison between the field and regulators on pipeline related issues • Managing regulatory audit requests and preparing audit backup documentation • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with all regulators • Working with the field to help identify and address licensing inconsistencies • Managing CNRL's extensive pipeline inventory within the internal database and external databases (GDM) to ensure compliant and safe operation through providing and analyzing reliable asset integrity data• Managing integrity failure tracking for all pipelines and pressure equipment• Liaising with many internal and external stakeholders to be the main point of contact for projects in various areas including Acquisitions and Divestitures • Working with the field to truth CNRL's assets in Saskatchewan to prepare for upcoming licensing requirements

I completed intakes and screenings independently, learning to bring educated suggestions for action to my supervisor. I also shadowed home visits and independently worked with some families in reaching their goals. Throughout my practicum, I had a well-rounded experience including intakes, assessments, investigations and case management.

This was a community focused practicum experience, dealing with awareness event planning, recognizing barriers for those with physical disabilities and included limited client contact. It expanded my broad knowledge base working with an organization who focuses on assisting a vulnerable population in accessing resources and maintaining self care.
